AGC of Texas Helps Pass Proposition 7

PROPOSITION 7 PASSES WITH OVERWHELMING

SUPPORT FROM TEXAS VOTERS

Thank you to all of our partners and

supporters for their hard work!

On Tuesday, November 3, 2015 83.23% of voters showed their support for increased investment in Texas' transportation system.  Attracting more than 83 percent of the public's support reinforces the value of spending time and money to help inform voters.  A super-majority of Texans supporting increased investments in highway funding sends a loud message across Texas and the entire country.  Proposition 7 will constitutionally dedicate a portion of both the state sales and use tax revenues and the motor vehicle sales tax revenues to the state highway fund for non-tolled roads.  This stable, reliable, predictable source of revenue for transportation will result in an estimated $70 billion over the next fifteen years.

The Texas Infrastructure Now (TIN) campaign effort could not have been possible without the support of the membership and the employees of member firms of the AGC of Texas.  Your time, talent, and treasure were critical to our success.

In addition, we would like to thank our campaign partners:
