YCF Members Greet Visitors at Big Machines Day

Members of the Birmingham Section Young Constructors Forum greeted the many visitors who swarmed in at Big Machines Day at the McWane Center on February 21, 2015.

Many of the visitors were there to touch, climb, and view various pieces of equipment usded on construction sites.  YCF members helped to dress up youngsters in construction attire to have their photos taken at the GoBuild Alabama exhibit.  YCF members also shared hundreds of construction trinkets to the many young visitors intrigued by the tools and equipment used in the industry.

Big Machines Day is an annual event held at the McWane Center usually attracting the largest single day crowd each year to the science and exploration museum with more than 3,500 visitors.  Much appreciation goes out to AGC member CraneWorks for sponsoring and partner GoBuild for their contribution to this wonderful event.
