North Section Mixes Business with Pleasure

FAMILY NIGHT WITH THE HAVOC

The end of March was busy for the North Section of Alabama AGC.  On Friday, March 20, North Section members enjoyed some hockey with Family Night with the Huntsville Havoc.  The Alabama AGC Suite reserved for the game was sold out.  All in attendance had a tremendous time, and look forward to making this event an annual tradition.

PRESIDENT PATE SPEAKS ALL THINGS AGC TO NORTH SECTION

A few days later, Alabama AGC President Rick Pate spoke to the North Section at its March luncheon meeting.  President Pate talked about the programs and services AGC offers from a national level to the local chapter level.  Pate encouraged all in attendance to get involved at both levels.  President Pate attributes much of the success of his business to the knowledge and assistance gained through his involvement within AGC on a national and local scale.  Pate, a member of the AGC of America  Board of Governors, is the first specialty contractor to serve as President of Alabama AGC in its 95 year history, and was the first Alabama AGC member to serve as Chairman of the AGC National Specialty Contractor Council.  The Rogers Group sponsored the luncheon meeting - much thanks for their support!
