SWCS- Alabama Chapter to Host Annual Meeting at Alabama AGC Conference Center

The Alabama Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society will host its Annual Meeting June 7-9, 2017 in the Conference Center of the Alabama AGC Office in Irondale.

An outstanding program is planned and is open to all Alabama AGC members.

1. The first day will be an all-day workshop targeting the erosion control industry in lieu of the usual one-half day (afternoon) technical session. The workshop is co-sponsored by the Soil Classifiers Association of Alabama and the Alabama Erosion and Sediment Control Partnership under the guidance of the the AL Soil and Water Conservation Committee. Six hours of contact time will be provided for continuing education credits.

2. Days 2 and 3 will be similar to those of previous years: Day 2 - visit field sites all day, followed by a sponsored dinner; Day 3 - business session followed by 2 hours technical training.

3. Single day registration is available for those that do not wish to attend the full event and, as usual, registration fees are a bargain.
