The vision behind Alabama AGC
Since January 1, 1920, Alabama AGC has brought together qualified construction contractors and industry-related companies dedicated to skill, integrity and responsibility.
Working with member companies that are the heart and soul of Alabama AGC is what we are all about, and the opportunity to work with each and every member we have is why we are here as your advocate for Alabama’s construction industry. A small sample of the activities we address on a daily basis includes Alabama AGC staff and leadership diligently serving the membership’s interests and needs through advocacy and liaisons with state agencies, the Alabama Legislature, Congress and other federal agencies. Leadership opportunities abound for those wanting to become more involved with Alabama AGC. Through committee participation and contact with Alabama AGC staff, members have the opportunity to articulate how policies will impact industry programs. Alabama AGC and its self-insured worker’s compensation insurance program, CompTrust AGC, is the only self-insured fund with an A.M. Best rating (A-), establishing it as the most fiscally sound fund in the state.
